G'day again all.  It's been a little longer between updates - both because dad is so busy at work and also because things have settled somewhat now into a bit of a routine.  We have hit a milestone though - Beth's just coming upto 6 months now!   The last couple appointments with physio and speech have been uneventful, and they are please with how Beth is going for the moment.

The main reason for this update is to share with you something lovely that some friends of ours arranged for us as a present - a family photo shoot!  A professional photographer (Janine Kaye Photography) came to us, and did a two hours session, and got some great photos.  We were so happy with the results and I've added some of these into the photo page for you to see. 

We visited a nearby park as well as getting some shots at home, and in the package we received we got 36 of the choicest photos printed in a lovely little album, a DVD slide show/movie of the photos set to our supplied music, and digital copies of the raw photos on a CD if we wanted to print more or use them ourselves.  On top of that, we were touched that Janine also gave us a couple of other lovely presents for Beth, which have been very useful - some black and white print images that Beth likes to look at and also a nice black and white book.

We want to thoroughly recommend Janine to everybody!  She was delightful, and we feel captured Beth and ourselves well - in a relaxed, candid way.  The fact she provides the negatives, which most places won't do so they can force you into buying copies, is a great arrangement.  Of course she can provide the full range of professionally printed copies as well if you prefer.
